THE PROCESS

At Florida United, we are here to guide players and parents through each step of the recruiting process to ensure we are working as efficiently and effectively as possible to find the right college fit for our members.

  • Phase 1 Meetings, a general meeting with all 10th graders (in August). In this meeting, we discuss the NCAA rules, college showcases, creating highlight videos, the recruiting process, academics and on the field expectations. We will also teach you the steps to finding the schools that will be a good fit for you academically, athletically and financially.
  •
  • Phase 2 Meetings, this is a meeting for all 10th, 11th and 12th graders to prepare for our showcase events and College ID Camp. With 100s of College coaches and National team scouts attending our Florida United games and training sessions, it’s important our players know how to communicate, what to do before during and after competition and what to expect from College and national team coaches.
  •
  • Phase 3 Meetings, get specific. These are individual meetings for 11th and 12th graders and their parents. Here we will discuss any scholarship offers you may have recieved and the feedback we are getting from the schools on your list. If we are not getting any offers from the schools on your original list we will review and look for aditional schools that may also be a good fit. When scholarship offers start coming in we will have several meetings as you move through the decision process and will be here to guide you from beginning through the end of the process.
  •
  • Phase 4 Meetings, close the deal. Choose the offer from the school that fits you best and accept! Your senior year we will train you with your college preparation in mind.

At Florida United we have a vast network of over 200 college coaches that communicate with us regularly regarding talent identification. We are a trusted source for player recommendations because we have a proven track record of placing players at the highest levels in the college game and on USSF Youth National Teams. If you are an elite minded player and want to be prepared for college, Florida United is the place to be.
